Jon Moxley Pushing AEW To Sign Free Agent

Jon Moxley wants a newly minted free agent to become All Elite.

It was first reported by Fightful Select that former IMPACT Wrestling World Champion Sami Callihan’s contract with the company was set to expire at the end of September. That report noted there was interest from both sides in possibly re-signing but that is not believed to have happened.

Callihan himself took to social media to confirm his status noting that he’d be a free agent after the 30th of September. PWInsider reported that Callihan’s last appearance in the company will air on the 12th of October edition of IMPACT where he will team with Rich Swann against The Rascalz in a bout for the IMPACT Tag Team Championship. That bout has already been filmed meaning Callihan has already finished up his commitments with the promotion.

Fightful Select has followed up now that Sami Callihan is a free agent by noting that there have been those in AEW pushing the promotion to sign the star, most notably Jon Moxley. Moxley is said to have maintained a great relationship with his fellow Ohioan over the years.

The report also notes that Callihan’s name has also been thrown around for possible producer roles in other companies.
