Jon Moxley Issues Title Challenge For AEW Full Gear

Jon Moxley has championship gold on his mind as he issued a challenge for the AEW Full Gear pay-per-view.

The AEW International Title was on the line on the November 1st episode of AEW Dynamite from Louisville. It was a competitive match between the champion Orange Cassidy and the challenger Claudio Castagnoli, who pinned Cassidy in a tag team match on the October 25th episode of AEW Dynamite.

This time around, it was Cassidy who found a way to beat Castagnoli. While Claudio overpowered Orange throughout the match, Cassidy went for an Orange Punch, Claudio tried to counter it and Orange hit a snap hurricanrana into the pinfall for the count of three and the pinfall win after 17 competitive minutes of action.

After the match, Claudio’s Blackpool Combat Club teammate Jon Moxley made his entrance by walking in through the back part of the arena. Cassidy went after Moxley in the ring and Orange put up a fight, but Moxley overpowered him.

After a commercial, Jon Moxley was backstage in front of some equipment boxes delivering a promo. Moxley talked about how he was the one that was supposed to have the International Title match with Fenix, but Moxley was hurt, Cassidy was subbed in and Cassidy won back the International Title.

In addition to that, Moxley made it clear that he wanted an AEW International Title match with Orange Cassidy.

“I showed you respect, Orange, when no one would. I let you walk out on your own power in Chicago. I did not have to do that. Did you just write me off like everybody else did? Right now, I’m not doing too good so maybe this isn’t about you.”

“Maybe you’re just the wrong guy in the wrong place at the wrong time. It doesn’t matter either way, Full Gear, I’m going to beat you within an inch of your life with my bare hands. And there’s not a damn thing you can do about it. Just because I can.”

Jon Moxley will try to take the International Title from Orange Cassidy for the second time

When Jon Moxley faces Orange Cassidy at AEW Full Gear on November 18th, it will be the second time they will meet for the International Title. In the main event of AEW All Out, Moxley beat Cassidy for the International Title to put an end to Cassidy’s 326-day reign as the champion.

Since then, the International Title has gone to Rey Fenix and back to Cassidy while Moxley will do his best to regain it for himself.
