Jon Moxley Teases Heinous Actions At AEW Full Gear

Jon Moxley

Jon Moxley has let AEW fans that he has something “really heinous” in mind for the Full Gear main event.

The main event of AEW Full Gear on November 23rd will see Jon Moxley defend the AEW World Title against Orange Cassidy. Those same two men headlined the AEW All Out 2023 PPV, but that was an AEW International Title match that was won by Moxley. This time it’s the AEW World Title on the line.

Being in the main event of an AEW PPV is nothing new for Moxley since he’s arguably been the biggest star in the company since he arrived over five years ago.

Jon Moxley won his fourth AEW World Title at the WrestleDream PPV when he destroyed his former friend Bryan Danielson. Moxley had previously put a plastic bag over Danielson’s head and after his title win at WrestleDream, Moxley made Wheeler Yuta put a plastic bag over his mentor Danielson’s head.

The current iteration of Jon Moxley in AEW is not afraid to be mean. Moxley is often joined by his Death Riders group consisting of Claudio Castagnoli, Pac, Wheeler Yuta & Marina Shafir and together, they love to inflict damage on anybody who gets in their way.

Jon Moxley Willing To Give Fans More On Pay-Per-View

In an interview with TV Insider, Jon Moxley spoke about giving the fans more while also talking about how he doesn’t like horror movies, but he does like hearing bones snap.

“If we’re asking people to pay a little more on pay-per-view, I’m going to give them a little more. I can’t juggle or dance or do cartwheels for you, but I can put my elbow all the way into Orange Cassidy’s face to see how much of his skull I can get. I can see if I can snap his arm so loud that it reverberates through the audio and picks up on camera.

We have a group chat going where we’re always sending really bad cuts and hematomas and snaps. It doesn’t bother me. I have an iron stomach for that kind of stuff. I also don’t like to watch horror movies. The real world is scary enough. I don’t need to see demons and werewolves eating people. But if someone’s arm gets snapped or a leg breaks, everyone wants to throw up. it doesn’t bother me at all.

Since it’s pay-per-view, I will try to give that to the fans in New Jersey and fans watching on pay-per-view. Something really heinous in the main event on Saturday night.”

Tony Khan is AEW’s owner who recently went on record to call Jon Moxley “AEW’s greatest star ever,” which is obviously high praise coming from the boss.
