Jon Moxley Gets Nailed In Sick AEW Viral Spot

Jon Moxley has gone viral after a sick spot in his AEW World Championship left fans fearing for his health.

On Dynamite in Omaha, Nebraska, fans were treated to a rematch of the Revolution main event as Jon Moxley clashed with Adam Copeland for the AEW World Championship in a street fight. Christian Cage crashed their previous title bout, finally cashing in his title shot contract but ended up being put to sleep by Moxley.

Jon Moxley went to great lengths to make the show as a blizzard hit Omaha and he might have wished he hadn’t bothered. Copeland and Moxley wasted no time in getting violent on Dynamite with tables and chairs being used. However, Cope took things up a notch when he introduced his nail-filled bat into proceedings as Spike lived up to its name.

Moxley suffered a direct hit from Spike but things got even worse for the champion as Copeland delivered a suplex on Moxley directly onto the nails with Spike becoming embedded in the AEW World Champion’s back to the horror of everyone watching. Spike stayed stuck into Moxley until Wheeler Yuta and the referee had to free him while blood poured from his back.

The rest of the Death Riders, Claudio Castagnoli, PAC, and Marina Shafir emerged to help Moxley retain his title as did Nick Wayne of The Patriarchy, indicating that Christian Cage and Adam Copeland could be on a collision course once again.
