Jon Moxley Forces AEW Show Off The Air

Jon Moxley AEW

Jon Moxley has exerted his power once again in AEW as he brought Rampage to a shuddering halt and forced the show off the air.

Jon Moxley captured the AEW World Championship at WrestleDream as he brought the full-time career of Bryan Danielson to an end. Since then Moxley, backed by his Death Riders Marina Shafir, Claudio Castagnoli, PAC, and Wheeler Yuta has been on a path of destruction as he seeks to rebuild AEW from the ground up in his own image.

This has brought no end to AEW talent looking to put an end to the Death Riders and as a result, Jon Moxley will defend his title against three challengers at Worlds End. But those three challengers will have to put their own issues to one side if there’s any chance of dethroning Moxley.

Now on Rampage New Year’s Smash, Jon Moxley stormed the production truck, vowing to put an end to the chaos in AEW at Worlds End before demanding the end of Rampage as he forced the director to cut the show as it abruptly went to a black screen.

After AEW signed a new multi-year TV deal with Warner Brothers Discovery it became clear that Rampage was coming to an end in 2024. The 27th of December edition of the Friday night show was the final episode of its run that began in 2021.
