Jon Moxley Forced To Accept AEW Title Match

Jon Moxley

Jon Moxley lost his title belt on AEW Dynamite and to get it back he had to agree to put it on the line at Revolution.

At Worlds End 2024, Jon Moxley put the AEW World Title on the line against Orange Cassidy, Hangman Adam Page, and Jay White.

After Moxley retained his title, the Death Riders looked to continue the assault on White before FTR’s music hit. As Harwood and Wheeler arrived at the top of the stage, a “Rated FTR” logo appeared on the big screen and Adam Copeland made his shock return to huge cheers.

The trio rushed the ring fighting off Castagnoli and Yuta as Copeland came face-to-face with Moxley. The WWE Hall of Famer hit a Spear before locking in a cross-face with a piece of a steel chair until Castagnoli finally pulled Moxley from the ring.

Jon Moxley Accepts Adam Copeland’s Challenge

On the February 1 edition of Collision, Adam Copeland issued a challenge to Jon Moxley to face him for the AEW World Championship at Revolution but Moxley initially refused. But now the match is on.

The February 12 edition of Dynamite saw Copeland claim the upper hand as he managed to steal the briefcase Moxley keeps the AEW World Title belt in. Copeland threatened to destroy the case with his trusty ‘Spike’ – a piece of wood with nails in it – unless Moxley accepted his challenge. Jon Moxley came out to confront Copeland and eventually reluctantly accepted the title match.
