Jon Moxley Gets AEW Title Rematch With Huge Stipulation

Jon Moxley AEW

Jon Moxley is going to get his chance to reclaim the AEW World Championship, but he’s going to have to play by Adam Page’s rules once again.

At All In Texas, Hangman Adam Page captured the AEW World Title to end the reign of terror of Jon Moxley and finally release the championship belt from its briefcase prison.

That match was fought under Texas Death rules, meaning anything went, which led to a whole host of stars getting involved. The Death Riders, Will Ospreay, Bryan Danielson, and crucially Swerve Strickland all intervened in the bout as Moxley finally got his comeuppance.

However, Jon Moxley is far from done trying to run roughshod over AEW.

Jon Moxley Gets AEW Title Rematch

The Death Riders have continued targeting Page’s friends and supporters in the company, bloodying Colt Cabana in his hometown of Chicago. Now, on the July 23rd edition of Dynamite, the Death Riders have struck again. Mark Briscoe defeated Claudio Castagnoli in the night’s main event before Moxley’s group attacked Briscoe.

Hangman Adam Page came to Briscoe’s rescue and found himself face-to-face with Moxley. Page told Moxley he’d prove to him that he can be the person that Moxley doesn’t think he is. Page then challenged Moxley to meet him on the July 30th edition of Dynamite for the AEW World Title, but this time with a very different stipulation from All In – everyone will be banned from ringside.
