Johnny Gargano Spotted At WWE Performance Centre

A photograph has emerged of Johnny Gargano at the WWE Performance Center for the first time since he left the company following the expiration of his contract.

Since letting his contract with WWE expire in December 2021, the in-ring future of Johnny Gargano has been the topic of much speculation.

While some believe that Gargano will follow fellow NXT alumni such as Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly in jumping to AEW, others have suggested that he will instead go back to WWE.

Now, the former NXT Champion has been pictured at the Performance Center with his baby boy Quill and Diamond Mine manager Malcom Bivens, adding fuel to the rumours of an imminent WWE return.

Johnny Gargano’s last match so far took place on the December 7th edition of NXT 2.0 where he gave an emotional farewell to the brand he had been part of since 2015.

Three days after this appearance, Gargano’s WWE contract expired and he became a free agent. The star later revealed that he had decided to let his contract expire almost a year in advance due to him and his wife, Candice LeRae, expecting their first baby. Quill Lewis Gargano was born on February 17th 2022.

During a recent appearance at WrestleCon during WrestleMania 38 weekend, Gargano spoke about his time in WWE and admitted he still feels a little unfulfilled at never having gone to the main roster. He added that he still has dreams of becoming Intercontinental and WWE Champion as well as wrestling at WrestleMania.
