John Laurinaitis A “Coward” For Turning On Vince McMahon
One WWE Hall of Famer thinks John Laurinaitis is nothing but a coward after he struck a deal to turn on Vince McMahon.
Former WWE employee Janel Grant launched a lawsuit in early 2024 against Vince McMahon, John Laurinaitis and WWE. In it, Grant detailed alleged sexual abuse suffered at the hands of McMahon. She also accused McMahon of setting up a sexual affair between her and then Head of Talent Relations, Lauriniaitis, in addition to claims that McMahon tried to use her as a pawn in contract negotiations with Brock Lesnar.
However, there was recently a massive development in the lawsuit as John Laurinaitis switched sides and agreed to co-operate with Grant, turning on McMahon in the process and offering up evidence against his former boss.
And one WWE Hall of Famer has made clear what they think of Laurinaitis’ actions.
John Laurinaitis Abused His Power Says WWE Hall Of Famer
Speaking on the Road Trip After Hours podcast, former WWE SmackDown General Manager Teddy Long was quick to blast Laurinaitis and thinks Vince McMahon put Laurinaitis in a position of power that he went on to abuse:
If what we just heard, if all this is true, okay, he just turned on the man that made him somebody. He wasn’t nothing until he came to work for Vince. Vince put him in charge of talent relations, gave him a bunch of power and stuff, and he abused that power because I was there, and I was one of the guys that he abused.
If you don’t care nothing about the man that that he worked for and made him what he is today, then you know damn well he didn’t care nothing about me.
That’s our that’s what you call a coward. Yeah. I mean, okay, if you was in, if you was in there with the man, and if it’s true, you know what I mean, just tell the truth or whatever and be done with it. That by him copping out and stooge it, or whatever you want to call it, that ain’t gonna that… he may get off, may have, may get free, or may not get convicted… but he’s got to live with that for the rest of his life.
