John Laurinaitis “Biggest Snake In The Business” Says Top WWE Star
On the back of John Laurinaitis being let go by WWE, a top wrestling star has reportedly referred to the former Head of Talent Relations as “the biggest snake” in wrestling.
Following weeks of rumours surrounding his future as allegations of misconduct, hush money payments, and affairs swirled, it was confirmed on August 8th that WWE had wished John Laurinaitis the best in his future endeavours and released him from his contract.
Fightful Select has issued a follow-up report following the former Head of Talent Relations’ departure that sheds more light on the situation. Laurinaitis was said to have been removed from internal email lists in the company when Triple H became the new Head of Talent Relations but he soon re-appeared on the lists again.
Many WWE stars are said to be excited that he is gone from the company and they do not expect him to return. An unnamed top WWE star is quoted as saying that John Laurinaitis is “the biggest snake in the business.”
The investigation into John Laurinaitis by WWE’s Board of Directors is said to centre on a “$1.5 million nondisclosure agreement reached in 2012 with an employee.” Laurinaitis left his talent relations role for the first time around when that deal is said to have been reached. One allegation levelled at Laurinaitis is that he demoted the employee when she ended their affair.
