John Cena’s Father Criticizes Son’s Match Against Major WWE Star
John Cena has only a few dates left. He possibly has only two matches left, one for Survivor Series and one for Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Currently, WWE is conducting a ‘Last Time Is Now’ tournament to determine The Champ’s final opponent.
John Cena’s last two matches were against AJ Styles at Crown Jewel and Brock Lesnar at Wrestlepalooza.
John Cena Sr. reveals how WWE could have booked Brock Lesnar’s match
During an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling, John Cena’s father spoke about The Last Real Champion’s match against Brock Lesnar. He believes WWE should have had Cena defeat Lesnar, but have Paul Heyman’s goons take out The Beast.
Once Cena saved Lesnar from The Vision, a tag team could have formed from that.
I still can’t fathom why the hell the Brock Lesnar thing went the way it did. It made absolutely no sense in my book. I would have written it a different way, where Heyman shakes hands with Lesnar. They’re buddies. He’s pounding Cena. Cena gets the win back. Next thing you know, out comes Heyman with his two henchmen, right? Bronson and Breaker. They come out, and Lesnar smiles like, Hey, my pals are here. They get the ring, look at Lesnar, they start pounding the living nuts out of him. And then Cena comes in and rescues. Now we’ve got a tag match set up, we have another storyline.
Currently, reports suggest that WWE is internally leaning towards Gunther as John Cena’s final opponent.
