John Cena’s #1 Passion Isn’t WWE Or Hollywood

John Cena is halfway through his retirement tour.

The 17-time WWE Champion had made a non-wrestling appearance during the 2024 Money in the Bank PLE in Canada.

There, he said that he was retiring from professional wrestling, with 2025 to be his final year as an in-ring performer.

WWE then announced various tour dates for the 48-year-old’s appearances across the United States and overseas.

At the time, he was mainly a part-time wrestler due to his commitments to various Hollywood projects.

John Cena has dedicated 36 dates to wrestling in 2025 and has completed 19 of them. His next match is against CM Punk at Night of Champions on June 28.

Cena also recently revealed that he would serve as WWE’s ambassador after retirement.

John Cena Reveals His #1 Passion

Alongside WWE, John Cena remains committed to his Hollywood ambitions.

Cena recently attended the premiere of his latest movie, Head of State, which also stars Idris Elba, Jack Quaid, and Priyanka Chopra.

He spoke to Mona Kosar Abdi of Extra, sharing his No. 1 passion, which is surprisingly not WWE or Hollywood.

My number one passion is my wife. Absolutely. That is first on the list. I’d say right behind that is my health so I can be the best husband to my wife.

John Cena has been married to Shay Shariatzadeh since 2020.

The current Undisputed WWE Champion recently recalled seeing Shay for the first time in 2019, wherein he couldn’t take his eyes off of her.

Cena takes Shariatzadeh to his movie premieres, where he heaps praise on her at every opportunity.
