John Cena Names WWE Star As The Best To Ever Wrestle
WWE might bill John Cena as the greatest of all time, but it seems that the man himself disagrees with that assessment.
John Cena’s legendary career will come to an end on December 13th at Saturday Night’s Main Event when he takes on Gunther. Cena has been on a retirement tour throughout 2025 that has seen several huge moments.
John Cena shocked the world when he turned heel at Elimination Chamber, before he went on to become a 17-time WWE Champion at WrestleMania 41 when he defeated Cody Rhodes. His heel run saw him resurrect old rivalries with CM Punk and Randy Orton before he abandoned his wicked ways, letting fans enjoy his final few months before he lost the WWE Title back to Cody Rhodes.
Cena shared the ring with AJ Styles once again at Crown Jewel before Cena became a Grand Slam Champion when he won the Intercontinental Title from Dominik Mysterio.
John Cena Gives One Word For WWE Stars
Speaking to Chris Van Vliet ahead of his final match, Cena gave short responses to describe his WWE rivals. Cody Rhodes was resilient, Randy Orton was smooth, R-Truth was beautiful, Logan Paul was underrated, CM Punk was Cena’s wrestling soulmate, Drew McIntyre was a story of resilience, Sami Zayn was an underdog, Brock Lesnar is once in a genre, but when it came to AJ Styles, Cena simply noted that the champ that runs the camp was the “Best to ever do it.”
