John Cena Gave Valuable Advice To Ex-Champion In WWE

John Cena WWE Talk

John Cena is something of a “wise man” when it comes to advising younger WWE superstars.

Over the last 22 years, John Cena started at the bottom of WWE and worked his way to the top to become one of the greatest superstars in the history of the company.

In 2025, John Cena will end his run as an in-ring performer in WWE because the 16-time former World Champion plans to wrap up his in-ring career by year’s end.

Many wrestlers on the current roster weren’t even adults when Cena won his first WWE Championship in 2005, but they have the luxury of knowing Cena and learning from him.

Logan Paul is a former United States Champion who has impressed a lot of people in his WWE career so far. While speaking on his Impaulsive podcast, Logan shared some great advice given to him by Cena in a text message.

“Another thing that [Jake Paul has] lived by and actually John Cena told me as well randomly, I shot him a text about something and he told me this, ‘Comparison is the thief of joy.’

I’ve never really understood it and I still don’t think I fully understand it, but it makes sense to me because I’m realizing something about myself and that’s like, I do compare myself to people in the sense that I’m competitive. I use it as fuel to motivate me to do better, which has always worked for me, but I’m also wondering if maybe it is the thief of joy.

While I am reaching these pinnacles, and I am happy doing it, am I doing this because I found that motivation inside me or did it come from an external source? Also, does it matter?”

John Cena Heading To Toronto For WWE Elimination Chamber

Tickets are now on sale for the WWE Elimination Chamber PLE on March 1, 2025, with John Cena advertised as one of the big names appearing at the show. It is being promoted as Cena’s last time wrestling in Toronto, which is the city where he announced his retirement tour this past summer.

The Elimination Chamber event will take place at the Rogers Centre in Toronto with 40,000+ fans likely in attendance. On social media, Cena encouraged fans to get tickets.

“Toronto, I was lucky enough to stand in your ring to announce my retirement. I said I’d be back. This is it! The last time is now! I’m so excited to stand in your ring one last time.

Do NOT miss it and looking forward to an unforgettable event!!!”

John Cena is also being advertised for the Royal Rumble in Indianapolis as the “Last Time Is Now” tour begins in 2025.
