John Cena Stuns Fans At WWE Press Conference

John Cena

John Cena has sold his soul.

All of the talk heading into Elimination Chamber centred around whether Cody Rhodes would sell his soul to The Rock in exchange for riches and immortality. However, when all was said and done, it was John Cena who stood side-by-side with The Rock, with a foot on the broken face of Rhodes as the show went off the air.

In the show’s main event, Cena won the men’s Elimination Chamber match to earn a shot at Cody Rhodes and the Undisputed WWE Title at WrestleMania. This brought Rhodes to the ring, but the pair were joined by The Rock and Travis Scott.

Rhodes told The Rock he wanted it all and that his soul no longer belonged to him because he gave his soul to the ring and the people a long time ago before he told The Rock in no uncertain terms and uncensored on the broadcast “Go f*ck yourself.”

When Cena and Rhodes subsequently embraced, Rock gave the signal, and Cena delivered a thunderous low blow before busting Rhodes open with a Rolex watch.

John Cena Staying Silent

Following his stunning heel turn, John Cena sat down with the world’s media at the post-show press conference. However, instead of explaining himself or at least addressing his actions, Cena simply dropped the mic and left without saying a word.

Elsewhere at Elimination Chamber, Bianca Belair earned a shot at the Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania. Following the match, Belair was joined at the top of the ramp by current champion Rhea Ripley, but as a staredown ensued, Iyo Sky came and got in on the action. Ripley and Sky are set to meet with the Women’s World Title on the line on Raw, with the winner going on to face Belair at WrestleMania.

At the start of the Elimination Chamber match, Jade Cargill made a shock return to attack Naomi, getting revenge for the assault that put her out of action.

Another star out for revenge was Randy Orton, who returned to take out Kevin Owens as he went to war with Sami Zayn.

There was also a crowd-pleasing win for Tiffany Stratton and Trish Stratus, who saw off Nia Jax and Candice LeRae.
