John Cena Shuts Down WWE Fans Chanting For R-Truth

John Cena on the mic on WWE Raw

John Cena appeared on the go-home episode of SmackDown ahead of Money in the Bank 2025, and made an impactful remark on the show.

The Franchise Player and his MITB tag team partner, Logan Paul, and had a serious confrontation with Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes.

However, their biggest problem was not their opponents but the WWE Universe!

John Cena snapped at the fandom on WWE SmackDown

As it’s well-known, R-Truth’s time with the wrestling juggernaut recently ended. The company did not renew his contract after the veteran turned it down owing to less money.

The fans present on the latest episode of WWE SmackDown kept chanting for R-Truth. Of course, since The Champ was the veteran’s last big feud, the Undisputed WWE Champion was targeted with the chants.

However, Cena didn’t appreciate it one bit, and shut down the chants by claiming that the fans aren’t able to handle the truth, and that the truth was staring them in the face.

You can’t handle the Truth. Our Truth is right here staring you in the face and there’s not a damn thing you or anyone who fights for you can do about it.

This was in reference to himself considering he has claimed himself as the final champion of WWE, and that he will ruin wrestling for the fans.

Money in the Bank’s tag team match will be the first time since WrestleMania 41 that John Cena and Cody Rhodes will face each other in the ring.
