John Cena WWE Wave

John Cena has two appearances remaining on his WWE retirement tour.

His next match will be at Survivor Series: WarGames on November 29, where he will defend his Intercontinental Championship against Dominik Mysterio.

It will be followed by his final bout at Saturday Night’s Main Event XLII on December 13, with his opponent decided by an ongoing tournament.

Meanwhile, John Cena has made his intention clear about imparting as much knowledge as possible to the future talents of the Stamford-based promotion.

He was recently pictured visiting the WWE Performance Center, where he interacted with NXT stars. The 48-year-old also went to Natalya’s Dungeon 2.0 with similar intentions.

One of the final tasks he asked to do was to personally select the contenders for NXT’s Iron Survivor Challenges scheduled in the coming weeks.

During the November 25 episode of NXT, he revealed 10 names, 5 men and 5 women, one of whom was WWE star Damian Priest’s girlfriend, Lola Vice.

While announcing Vice as one of the contenders, he gave the 27-year-old a personal shout-out.

Someone who’s always believed in her ability. Every time we have spoken together personally, she has one question. When can I get my shot? Lola Vice, your time is now.

John Cena Names Contenders For Male Iron Survivor Challenge

On the same show, John Cena revealed the names of NXT male superstars, who he thought were ideal to compete in the Iron Survivor Challenge.

Cena has reportedly been impressed with Je’Von Evans, so there was no surprise he picked “Young OG.”

He also chose TNA X-Division Champion Leon Evans, who has teamed up with Evans on more than one occasion on NXT.

Next, he picked the latest WWE signee and former TNA star Joe Hendry, followed by Dion Lennox of DarkState.

In the main event of the night, Myles Borne and Trick Williams clashed in a singles match, owing to their tensions over the last several weeks.

Cena said that the winner of the match would be the fifth and final contender. Borne won the match to occupy the elite spot.
