John Cena Sends Heartfelt Message To WWE Champion Cody Rhodes
17-time WWE World Champion John Cena recently made his first public appearance since retiring from in-ring competition at this past week’s Saturday Night’s Main Event.
After building up to this moment for a year, Cena called time on his in-ring career after his loss to Gunther in his final match, and confirmed the same by leaving his boots and signature armband in the ring.
He made his first public appearance since retiring when he appeared on Cody Rhodes’ What Do You Wanna Talk About podcast earlier tonight, and spoke on a variety of topics during their chat.

During their conversation, Cena delved into various topics, including his viral heel turn on Cody Rhodes at Elimination Chamber and his thoughts on his final WWE opponent, Gunther.
He delivered a special message to Cody on Twitter [X], stating that he was honored to share his first public words since retiring with some that he loves and respect.
