Rhodes made his much-awaited WWE return at Saturday Night’s Main Event, after Cena attacked the World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso during his title defense against Logan Paul.
Earlier in the night, John Cena faced R-Truth in a non-title singles match, which he won comfortably, albeit using underhanded tactics. He also attacked Truth with the belt after the match had ended.
It will be Rhodes’ first appearance on SmackDown since WrestleMania 41 in April.

The WWE Undisputed Champion has constantly vowed to ruin wrestling, but Rhodes made it clear that he was there to stop Cena.
He then issued a tag team challenge to Cena and Paul to face him and Uso at Money in the Bank PLE.
