John Cena Project Abruptly Cancelled
John Cena failed to win the WWE Royal Rumble and book his place in the WrestleMania main event and now he’s facing more bad news.
John Cena finished as the Royal Rumble runner-up for the third time in his career as Jey Uso shocked the world by winning the Rumble. It now looks like Jey Uso is on the hunt for Gunther’s World Heavyweight Championship but Cena is still looking for championship gold as well.
John Cena has declared his entry into the Elimination Chamber as he is now focused on capturing the 17th world title of his career before he hangs up his boots. Cena admitted he’s now heading to Hungary to film a movie before the Chamber takes place on March 1. However, it seems Cena now has one less commitment on his calendar.
John Cena’s Wipeout Brought To An End
TNT and TBS President Jason Sarlanis mentioned at Realscreen that Cena’s Wipeout show was coming to an end as well as The Cube:
Those are very much in the realm of what we do. Wipeout is inherently comedic and a joy to watch. But I think what we’re what we’re looking at is being realistic in terms of the entire environment. We have to recalibrate.
John Cena, Nicole Byer, and Camille Kostek fronted TBS’ reboot of Wipeout with two series of the show airing on the network before its cancellation.
