John Cena Pokes Fun At Himself As He Prepares To Kick Off Final WWE Raw

John Cena WWE Farewell

John Cena is enjoying his retirement run.

As John Cena prepares to wrestle for the final time at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13, the race is on to be the star to retire the 17-time World Champion.

The ‘Last Time Is Now’ tournament is well underway, with WWE stars past and present all getting involved. This saw the shock return of Zack Ryder on SmackDown in a losing effort to LA Knight.

To add even more intrigue, John Cena is the new Intercontinental Champion after beating Dominik Mysterio on November 10. This means that Cena’s final match could also see the gold on the line.

However, Cena has two more matches to go before he gets to Saturday Night’s Main Event, starting with a final appearance on Raw at Madison Square Garden.

John Cena Will Kick Off Raw

In a new post on social media ahead of the show, Cena hyped up his appearance on Raw, writing that there’s no better place for fans to indulge in some “Let’s go Cena/Cena sucks!” chants. He even poked fun at the calls of “You can’t wrestle” that have followed him throughout his career.

“Tomorrow night on @netflix is the end of an era in WWE. Don’t miss the final episode of #WWERaw U will ever C ME perform in. No better stage than the iconic @TheGarden to chant “Let’s Go Cena” or “Cena Sucks!”

Whatever it is, The Last Time is Now because after this … I can’t wrestle 😉”

Raw General Manager Adam Pearce has now confirmed that Cena will open the show in New York; however, there remains no word on who he’ll be wrestling.
