John Cena No Longer Favourite To Win WWE Royal Rumble

The odds have shifted for the men’s Royal Rumble as a new favourite emerges to win the bout knocking John Cena off that top spot.

The Royal Rumble is perhaps the most anticipated WWE event of the year due to the high-stakes Rumble matches that see the winners move onto WrestleMania to challenge for a world championship.

For the first time since 2018, John Cena is set to be part of the Royal Rumble event and when the odds for the men’s Rumble match were first released on Bet Online, Cena was the favourite to win for what would be the third time in his career. John Cena will retire from WWE in 2025 and could be looking to go out with a bang with one more WrestleMania main event. But it looks like he’s got stiff competition.

In the latest odds for the match, John Cena is now joint second-favourite with his old rival CM Punk with a new name at the head of the odds, and it’s one that both Cena and Punk know well.

The Rock Usurps John Cena In WWE Royal Rumble Odds

The Rock is now the favourite to win the men’s Royal Rumble and set up a potential showdown with Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship. The Rock has not been in the Rumble since 2001 when he finished third behind Kane and eventual winner Stone Cold Steve Austin.

As far as the women’s Rumble match, the favourite to win is someone not even under a WWE contract as of right now. Becky Lynch left WWE earlier in 2024 but despite that, The Man is the favourite to win the women’s Rumble. If she does so she’ll become the first woman in history to win multiple Rumble matches.
