John Cena Drops New Roman Reigns-Related Tease

John Cena confronting Roman Reigns

John Cena continues to drop hints ahead of WrestleMania.

Although there’s been no official confirmation, John Cena has repeatedly teased that he’ll be at WrestleMania 40. There have also been reports that he’ll feature in some capacity along with Steve Austin and The Undertaker.

To add more fuel to the fire, Cena has taken to Instagram to share a photo of Roman Reigns looking less than impressed. What exactly Cena is trying to hint at or whether he’s simply having fun with fans is unclear.

Cena hasn’t featured on WWE television since being demolished by Solo Sikoa at Crown Jewel in November. At the time, Michael Cole on commentary suggested it could be Cena’s final match. The 16-time World Champion has battled on and off with Roman Reigns and The Bloodline since 2021.

John Cena Linked With “Mystery Slot” At WrestleMania

The post comes after it was reported that WWE has a “mystery slot” on the schedule for WrestleMania 40. However, despite the speculation, there’s no word on whether the slot will be an appearance from Cena.

The same report also dismissed rumours that Cena and Steve Austin are confirmed for some kind of involvement in the WrestleMania main event. A production truck featuring photos of Cena and Austin was seen on Raw as The Rock delivered a beatdown to Cody Rhodes.
