John Cena “Murdered” Major WWE Star With Explosive Promo

John Cena will face Logan Paul at Clash in Paris on August 31st, 2025.

Previously, John Cena and Cody Rhodes teamed up to defeat Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre in a tag team fight.

With The Maverick taking on The Champ in a singles fight soon, the duo had quite the segment on the latest episode of SmackDown.

John Cena verbally took down Logan Paul ahead of Clash in Paris

On Busted Open Podcast, Bully Ray and Bishop Dyer (fka Baron Corbin) discussed John Cena’s promo on SmackDown.

Dyer claimed that The Leader of Cenation “murdered” Paul, especially after taking shot at The Maverick’s Prime drink.

Yeah, that was a murder. John murdered him in so many ways. I mean, he sh*t on the prime drink, dumped the table. Loved that. Call it like I like what Logan is trying to do about acting like he’s one of the boys because it pisses people off, and it’s a good little kind of thing about talking about John going to Hollywood, but it’s a tired story that we’ve heard 10,000 times. Um, it doesn’t resonate like it used to when John would say it to The Rock, like your Hollywood sellout. Um, it’s kind of just, and it’s been told with John before. Roman did it to John. Like we’ve heard that before.

I just Logan’s usually pretty good on the mic, but I didn’t like how, um, he took a lot of shortcuts in the beginning of the promo with like sh*tting on the town. It’s good to be back in England and they’re in Scotland, and then like getting those things that you know are going to get booze.

Like if you’re going with Cena, it needs to be original and it needs to be really, really good. get your shots in because they are gonna come back.

John Cena has previously praised Logan Paul for his athleticism, and the former United States Champion has earned praise from several veterans in the industry for his in-ring performance.
