John Cena Undergoes Medical Procedure During WWE Retirement Tour

John Cena Reveals Which Match Finish He Felt Was

John Cena is set to retire by the end of this year. His last match will take place at Saturday Night’s Main Event on Saturday, December 13, at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. His final opponent is yet to be announced. Amidst his retirement tour, he recently underwent a medical procedure.

Cena’s hair journey has been a very public and personal one, marked by a struggle with noticeable hair loss that became apparent in his later WWE years. By late 2024, fans had started teasing him about his bald spot during live shows, with some holding signs jokingly calling him “The bald John Cena.” This constant attention pushed Cena to undergo a hair transplant surgery in November 2024, where hair follicles from the sides of his head were relocated to the thinning areas.

Cena has openly spoken about the emotional impact of the teasing, describing it as a form of bullying that ultimately motivated him to take action. He shared that hair restoration significantly boosted his confidence and positively influenced his career, especially in Hollywood roles. The 17-time World Champion also follows a detailed post-transplant routine including red-light therapy, minoxidil, and special hair care products to maintain healthy hair growth.

The Last Real Champion recently logged on to X to share that he got another PRP and exosome treatment to maintain healthy and steady hair growth. He also thanked his doctor, Ken Anderson, who has played a significant role in his haircare journey.

Another successful PRP and exosome treatment with the life changing @KenAndersonMD thank you for not only your incredible work on my hair transplant and also for teaching me the importance of maintenance and care.

John Cena Was Not The First Choice For Peacemaker

Just like in WWE, John Cena is also a popular star in Hollywood. One of the iconic movie characters he plays is Peacemaker in James Gunn’s DCU. But did you know, Gunn wanted someone else to play the Peacemaker role. The star in question is none other than Batista, who plays Drax the Destroyer in Guardians of the Galaxy.

“I wrote the character of Peacemaker for him, and we offered him the role, but [he] was offered two movies, and we weren’t paying him a lot, so he had to go where the money was.” James Gunn recently revealed on The Howard Stern Show.
