John Cena May Face WWE Legend In Final Match

John Cena WWE Last Time

John Cena recently suffered a defeat at the hands of Brock Lesnar at Wrestlepalooza.

Following that, The Champ urged for a match between himself and AJ Styles at Crown Jewel, which Triple H confirmed.

While The Leader of Cenation does not handpick his opponents, he does listen to the fans, and the fans wanted The Last Real Champion vs. The Phenomenal One!

John Cena’s final opponent will be WWE’s returning superstar

It so happens that The Champ’s final match will be on December 13th at Saturday Night’s Main Event. The final opponent is yet to picked.

He has faced Randy Orton, Logan Paul, Sami Zayn, Cody Rhodes, and R-Truth in his Farewell Tour. The one who feels like the obvious choice is his Wrestlepalooza opponent, Brock Lesnar.

In PWInsider.com Q and A, a question about why Cena is losing to Lesnar but is winning against young guns like Logan Paul. Ideally, he can really give the younger main event talent a boost by putting them over. The response was that John Cena losing to Brock Lesnar can lead to a story where The Champ will train to take down the ultimate Beast in WWE.

My guess is that they will tell a story where Cena has to be like Rocky in Rocky 3 and train to beat the beast Mr. T, er Lesnar, in his final match. At this point, I don’t see anyone else that makes sense for Cena to close out against, especially after the beating he took from Brock.

Following Crown Jewel, WWE is considering a match between Dominik Mysterio and John Cena. If Cena defeats Mysterio, he can become the new Intercontinental Champion and also, a Grand Slam Champion.

During the final match against Brock Lesnar, Cena can lose the championship to mark the end of his time in WWE.
