John Cena Match At WWE Crown Jewel Confirmed
John Cena will be back in the ring at Crown Jewel.
Although Brock Lesnar will be missing Crown Jewel for the first time ever, John Cena will be lacing up his boots for the event in Saudi Arabia on November 4th. It’s been announced by WWE that Cena will be facing Solo Sikoa in singles action for the first time.
The foundations for the match were laid on the October 20th episode of SmackDown when Cena addressed his lengthy losing streak in singles matches. After facing his failures, Cena challenged the SmackDown roster to take him on.
The call was answered by Sikoa, but the pair got into a wild brawl before the match could get started.
Cena famously defeated Sikoa’s uncle Umaga at the 2007 Royal Rumble in a Last Man Standing Match. Many consider the bout to be one of the best of their respective careers.

When Did John Cena Last Win A Singles Match?
When John Cena took to the ring at SmackDown and highlighted the fact he hadn’t won a singles match since 2018 he wasn’t joking.
Cena hasn’t had his hand raised at the end of a singles match since getting the better of Triple H at the Greatest Royal on April 27th, 2018. Since then, the 16-time World Champion has come up short against the likes of Roman Reigns and The Fiend Bray Wyatt.
Cena’s most recent match came at Fastlane where he teamed with LA Knight to see off Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso.
The star has been ever-present on SmackDown in October in large part due to the SAG AFTRA actor’s strike. With no sign of a resolution in sight, Cena looks set to remain with WWE for the time being.
