John Cena Could Be Part Of Massive Match At WWE Survivor Series

John Cena

John Cena could be involved in the Men’s WarGames match at WWE Survivor Series, according to a new report.

There are just four more dates left on John Cena’s “Last Time Is Now” tour that will put an end to his career as an active WWE superstar. Those dates are:

  • WWE Monday Night Raw in Boston on November 10
  • WWE Monday Night Raw in New York City on November 17
  • WWE Survivor Series in San Diego on November 29
  • WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event in Washington, DC, on December 13th, which will be Cena’s final match.

As for his final opponent, John Cena will face the winner of a 16-man Last Time Is Now tournament featuring active Raw, SmackDown, and NXT superstars, and even people who don’t work for WWE right now.

To promote his final WWE Raw appearance in Boston, which is near where he grew up in West Newbury, Massachusetts, Cena went on X to tell fans not to miss this.

John Cena May Be Competing In A WarGames Match For The First Time Ever

For several weeks and even months, there were rumors that John Cena might face and beat Dominik Mysterio for the Intercontinental Title at Survivor Series. The IC Title is a title that Cena never held, and also didn’t challenge for very often in his career, so the idea that he would win one last title before his retirement would have been a nice story.

However, a new report has claimed the WWE has changed those reported plans and John Cena will face Dominik Mysterio for the IC Title on Raw in Boston. Since Dirty Dom was confronted by his father, Rey Mysterio, who is cleared to return to the ring after being injured for the past six months, it’s possible that Rey could prevent Dom from cheating, and that could lead to Cena winning the match.

It was reported by Ibou of Self Made that the plan now is for Cena to wrestle in the Men’s WarGames match at Survivor Series: “John Cena is working War Games.”

Meanwhile, Cory Hays of Bodyslam seemed to confirm the report by writing: “Been discussed for a few weeks.”

For now, Cena competing in the WarGames match at Survivor Series, which is a match he has never been a part of in the past, is just a rumour, so fans will have to tune in to Raw to see what happens next on Cena’s retirement tour.
