John Cena Could Lose WWE Title To Unexpected Star

John Cena faces a huge challenge for his WWE Title at Night of Champions, but it’s one wild card who could end up dethroning the 17-time champion.

The wrestling world was shocked when R-Truth revealed his time in WWE was coming to an end as his contract was not being renewed. That led to even more surprise when R-Truth made his quick return at Money In The Bank, where he took out John Cena.

Killings has continued his assaults on Cena, most recently locking him in the STF on SmackDown as Cena tries to prepare to defend his WWE Championship at Night of Champions against CM Punk. Ron Killings also challenged Cena to a non-title match on the following week’s SmackDown as hostilities between the pair are set to continue.

But could Killings take even more from Cena? It wouldn’t surprise former WWE Champion Big E.

John Cena Faces Serious WWE Title Threat

Speaking on the Raw Recap, Big E explained why he thinks Ron Killings could be the one to end up taking the WWE Championship from John Cena:

I don’t put anything past this version of R-Truth. If he is the one to dethrone John Cena—uttering that sentence two weeks ago, [or] three weeks ago, you get laughed out of the building. But now, it wouldn’t shock me one bit. This version of R-Truth can beat anybody.
