John Cena Joins Transformers Spinoff Movie Bumblebee
John Cena will be joining the cast of a Transformers spinoff movie titled, Bumblebee. This is according to The Hollywood Reporter which also states that Cena has nagged a “lead role” in the film.

Bumblebee will feature a young cast with Hailee Steinfeld (The Edge of Seventeen) at the forefront. Travis Knight (Kubo and the Two Strings) will be directing the movie while the script was written by Christina Hodson (Shut In). Bumblebee will be distributed by Paramount Pictures and will hit theaters on December 21, 2018.
The Hollywood Reporter stated the following about Cena’s growing acting career.
“Cena, known for his work as a star WWE wrestler, has been building up a notable acting career over the past few years. He was most recently seen in Doug Liman’s The Wall opposite Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and in HBO’s film Tour de Pharmacy. His other credits include Daddy’s Home, Sisters and Trainwreck. Also serving as the host of American Grit on Fox, Cena will next be seen in Daddy’s Home 2 and Kay Cannon’s The Pact with Leslie Mann. He is repped by ICM Partners.”
