John Cena Has An Incredible McDonald’s Fix
John Cena knows how to fix a broken-down ice cream at McDonald’s when you’re craving a McFlurry.
Cody Rhodes is the Undisputed WWE Champion who has spoken repeatedly about how he learned a lot from the former 16-time WWE Champion John Cena, who knows a lot about being the top babyface in the company.
Early on in Cody’s career, he traveled with Cena a lot and often drove Cena from town to town while learning about the WWE lifestyle from him.
During an appearance on SportBible’s Snack Wars, Rhodes shared an interesting Cena story about how they were going to a McDonald’s late at night, they were told the ice cream machine was down and suddenly Cena came up with a way to fix it without using any tools.
“People hating on the Golden Arches, I won’t stand for it. I won’t. McDonald’s is there late at night. One time, John Cena, me and John, 2 AM, McDonald’s. They always hit you with the same thing, ‘Hey, ice cream machine is down. We can’t make the McFlurry.’ ‘Really? You can’t make the McFlurry? What if I give you $100 bill?’
This is John, in the moment, they turned that thing on. McFlurry was right there for him.”
John Cena Is Allowed To Break A Golden WWE Rule
When you are one of the most successful top guys in WWE history, you can break some rules. John Cena looking into the camera on his way to the ring is breaking a rule, which Cody Rhodes explained in a recent interview.
“When I went away and came back I was allowed to bring everything back with me, including breaking a lot of the pre-existing rules.
We’re out of the frame of looking at monitors sideways now. You know, what’s still a pretty big on-air rule but it’s good for production purposes, is not to talk into the camera.
That’s John’s thing. John looks at the camera and mentions Stu the cameraman, runs to the ring. I don’t want to see anyone, including myself, do it – and I probably have done at some point.
But that’s his (thing) and that’s the reason why it’s a rule – until somebody beats him and then it’s his.”
John Cena has said that he will be on WWE Monday Night Raw on January 6th when Raw premieres on Netflix, but it hasn’t been announced by WWE yet.
