John Cena recently discussed Vince McMahon stepping into the public eye again.

The former WWE boss has not been at any major public event since resigning from the TKO board after being accused of sexual assault and trafficking by a former employee.

McMahon celebrated his 80th birthday in August, which was attended by several superstars, including Cena.

With Cena competing in his final match at Saturday Night’s Main Event XLII, there have been speculations about McMahon turning up in Washington, DC, on December 13.

Elsewhere, John Cena recently appeared on The Joe Rogan Experience, where he was asked by the host which other pro wrestling personalities could appear on his show.

The 17-time world champion liked the prospect of seeing Vince McMahon appearing on an episode, even giving him a shoutout.

Man, he would be great. Whatever magic you have out there, and you have a lot of gravity. Are you kidding me? I think he would love it. I don’t know when the right time is, but man, don’t miss out on that opportunity. At least, send it out to the universe. Vince, if you’re listening, I think this experience will be a great one for you.

John Cena Did Not Want Vince McMahon To Go

John Cena misses having Vince McMahon around.

During an interview with Bill Simmons of The Ringer, the 17-time World Champion addressed McMahon’s departure, calling it ‘unfortunate.’

Vince has so much knowledge. I think what’s happened is unfortunate because you have this individual with so much depth of field who can still offer things, and we no longer can pull from that well, but it doesn’t mean we don’t have able-bodied folks who can’t put on creative programming.

I never wanted Vince to go because I love him and I know how much he loves the business, but he taught me, ‘We’re all going to go. All of us.’ He not only taught me through the saying, but his actions. I was there the day he fired Stone Cold. Missed a date, gotta go. Biggest attraction. ‘I gotta let people know this isn’t okay.’

Things happen, we gotta let people know this isn’t okay. ‘It’s time for you to go.’ Everybody goes.
