John Cena Flat Out Steals From Stephanie McMahon
John Cena’s heel turn since the 2025 Elimination Chamber has been well-received by the WWE Universe.
Cena came face-to-face with the then-Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes after winning the Elimination Chamber match. Rhodes, on the other hand, had The Rock on his tail for weeks, asking him to ally by ‘selling his soul’ to him.
Rhodes declined the offer, but unbeknownst to him, Cena had accepted a similar offer, starting his heel turn in close to two decades.
Cena has not looked back since, claiming a record-breaking 17th Championship title.
Although this would not have been possible for Cena without a few helping hands lending their support to the storyline.
John Cena Thanks Stephanie McMahon For A Very Special Reason
During his in-ring career, Cena has faced numerous adversaries, Stephanie McMahon being one of them.
In a chat with The Billion Dollar Princess on her show Stephanie’s Places, Cena got candid about his relationships within the business and outside, his retirement, and many more.
The current WWE Undisputed Champion also credited Stephanie for her insights and guidance.
Can I just say I had some really good people to learn from. You are on a very short list of names that falls into. I flat out steal a lot from you. So, thanks for helping me through this.
More often than not, Stephanie and Cena found each other at loggerheads, with the former WWE CEO playing heel for a major part of her career.
Cena is on his retirement tour, which will end in December.
