What John Cena Wants Fans To Get Out Of Final WWE Match
John Cena has some advice for WWE fans going into his final match at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
In the main event of Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13th, John Cena will compete in his final WWE match against Gunther, and it will be the main event of the show.
After 23 years on the WWE main roster, with about 18 years as a full-time performer, John Cena has done it all in WWE and is considered by many people to be the company’s Greatest of All Time, aka the GOAT.
Due to Cena’s long history in WWE, many fans grew up with him as their hero, and they are likely to be emotional going into his final match.
While speaking to Pat McAfee and his crew on the Pat McAfee Show, John Cena made it clear that this is really the end, so he wants WWE fans to understand that this is the end.
“What I advise of fans out there, please watch tomorrow and give yourselves the closure that you need, because my biggest concern is that people will go, ‘oh no he’s gonna parlay it into WrestleMania,’ or ‘this match will be great,’ no.
Tomorrow night is it. If you don’t believe me, if you’re not ready to take that on, then I urge fans that when they watch tomorrow, like, let it all out and understand that this is it.”
Gunther Is Planning Heartbreak For John Cena’s Final WWE Match
When John Cena faces Gunther at Saturday Night’s Main Event in Washington, D.C., many people are predicting Gunther will win because it’s common in wrestling for a wrestler to lose their final match. When Gunther was asked about it, he made it clear he planned to cause heartbreak for Cena and his fans at SNME.
“Let’s compare it to a book. The last chapter will be written on Saturday. It’s just a question.
Is it going to be a happy ending or is it going to be a heartbreak? And I’m going to do everything in my power that it’s going to be a heartbreak.”
The four-match card at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13th looks like this:
