John Cena Issues Explanation About “Last Time Is Now” WWE Tournament
John Cena’s Farewell Tour has taken an interesting turn, and the final opponent will be decided via a tournament.
The Champ had already revealed that he was not going to handpick his final opponent. It was not going to be his decision; however, WWE probably wouldn’t have an issue with it if he did handpick his final match.
On Saturday Night’s Main Event, Cena and the global juggernaut announced that a ‘Last Time Is Now’ tournament, beginning from the November 10th, 2025 episode of Monday Night RAW, will decide who gets to stand across the ring from John Cena at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13th, 2025.
John Cena revealed the motivation behind the ‘Last Time Is Now’ tournament
This tournament will feature pro-wrestlers from SmackDown, RAW, NXT, and maybe even beyond the realms of WWE. It seems that The Last Real Champion is focused on giving everyone a fair shot, and whoever steps up to the challenge will face him.
Taking to social media, he explained the motivation for the tournament. He has made the best of every opportunity for two decades, and this is his way of repayment.
For over two decades, I have tried to make the most of every opportunity I’ve been presented. On December 13th, I’d like to repay the favor.
