John Cena Expected To Headline 2026 WWE Hall Of Fame

John Cena WWE Hall Of Fame

John Cena’s iconic WWE career will end on December 13th, and now it’s expected that he’ll be the main event of the 2026 Hall of Fame.

John Cena’s last match will take place at Saturday Night’s Main Event in December when he will face the winner of a 16-man Last Time Is Now tournament. Solo Sikoa survived a returning Dolph Ziggler while Gunther saw off Je’Von Evans to progress to the quarter-finals of that competition on the November 17th edition of Raw.

That show also saw Cena compete in his final Raw match when he teamed with Sheamus and Rey Mysterio to defeat The Judgment Day’s Dominik Mysterio, Finn Balor, and JD McDonagh. Cena will defend his WWE Intercontinental Championship against Dominik Mysterio at Survivor Series in his penultimate bout.

John Cena Heading Into WWE Hall Of Fame In Las Vegas?

With time running out for Cena as an active WWE Superstar, it seems the company has plans to honour him not long after he hangs up his boots.

The Wrestling Observer’s Bryan Alvarez wrote that “Belief is Cena very likely the 2026 Hall of Fame main eventer.” The only confirmed inductee into the Class of 2026 is Stephanie McMahon, who could very well be seen by her husband Triple H as a Hall of Fame headliner in her own right.

The 2027 edition of WrestleMania will take place in Saudi Arabia, meaning that year’s Hall of Fame ceremony will likely also be held there.
