John Cena Drops WrestleMania Tease

John Cena is keeping fans guessing.

It was recently reported that John Cena and WWE have been in talks over a potential appearance at WrestleMania 40. However, nothing is believed to be locked in, and any appearance will be “low risk” due to his filming schedule, seemingly ruling out a match.

For his part, Cena hasn’t shied away from the speculation and has even hinted he could be at the event.

While appearing on The Drew Barrymore Show Cena said he’s still waiting for his WrestleMania invite and hasn’t found his golden ticket. However, he’s determined to make sure he gets one.

“I’m kind of waiting for my invite. Unfortunately, it’s like, I don’t have a prom date, so I have no one to go to prom with. I haven’t been asked to go yet. That’s okay. That’s alright. I have not yet found a golden ticket in my chocolate bar, so I guess I have to keep eating chocolate bars to find a golden ticket.”

John Cena stole the show at the Oscars as he presented the award for Best Costume Design in his birthday suit. But while the prank caused plenty of laughs online, it seems not everyone was impressed.

Jimmy Kimmel claims there was incredible reluctance from producers who needed a lot of convincing to allow the stunt.
