John Cena Drops WrestleMania 40 Hint
John Cena hasn’t ruled out appearing at WrestleMania.
With The Rock presumed to be getting back in the ring at WrestleMania, speculation has been swirling around several other legends.
John Cena made several WWE appearances in 2023 and even got in the ring at WrestleMania 39. This has led some to wonder whether he could lace up his boots in Philadelphia. Interestingly, it seems the man himself isn’t ruling it out.
Appearing on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Cena said his schedule was free for the event.
“I know exactly where (the show) is and, I mean, I’m free that day.”
Cena performed his “You can’t see me” hand gesture commenting “Maybe you won’t see me there.”
John Cena In Talks With WWE
The comments come after it was reported that John Cena and WWE have been in talks over a potential appearance at the spectacular. The report added that while Cena could appear he won’t be doing anything deemed to be a risk after it was confirmed he’ll soon be filming a second season of Peacemaker. This would seemingly rule out a match.
Cena clashed with Austin Theory at WrestleMania 39 before returning to the ring in September. Cena wrestled his last match at Crown Jewel on November 4th where he lost to Solo Sikoa.
