What Did John Cena Do On The Simpsons Season Premiere?

John Cena The Simpsons

John Cena made his presence felt on the season premiere episode of The Simpsons.

The 16-time WWE World Champion John Cena knows a thing or two about being on a long-running television series.

After all, Cena has spent a better part of 20+ years on WWE’s Monday Night Raw, which is in its 31st year, and WWE Friday Night Smackdown, which is in its 25th year.

The legendary television show The Simpsons had its Season 36 Premiere on Sunday and Cena was in the episode.

In the episode titled “Bart’s Birthday,” Comic Book Guy and his partner Kumiko were in a tough situation when she was about to give birth to their child. That’s when John Cena appeared to declare that he is “the only licensed midwife to win 16 WWE Championships.”

That led to Cena plugging his signature line of panini presses (a joke, of course) and Cena would go on to deliver the baby while cutting the umbilical cord with a Klingon Bat’leth. Cena did his classic WWE “you can’t see me” hand gesture to the newborn baby before he left.

There was also a Cena cameo at the end of the episode while Bart Simpson tried to celebrate his 11th birthday. There were plenty of other celebrities in the episode including Tom Hanks, Conan O’Brien & Danny DeVito.

Bret Hart was the first WWE superstar on The Simpsons way back in Season 8 in 1997 when he was still one of the top stars in WWE.

John Cena Planning To Be At WWE Raw Debut On Netflix

The year 2025 will be a big one for John Cena since he plans to retire as an active WWE superstar by the end of that year.

While there are still three more months left in the 2024 year, there’s a lot of excitement about 2025 because of Monday Night Raw moving to Netflix. John Cena has confirmed in a recent interview that he plans to be on the Raw premiere on Netflix.

While WWE has yet to officially announce where that January 5th, 2025 episode of Raw on Netflix will emanate from, the leading contender is the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, which could be announced very soon.
