John Cena Criticized By WWE Hall Of Famer

John Cena WWE Last Time

A move performed by John Cena didn’t impress a WWE Hall of Famer.

The main event of WWE Backlash was billed as the final time that the WWE Champion John Cena would face Randy Orton.

Cena’s match with Orton was full of controversy. Referees got knocked down during the match, and Cena got the win after hitting Orton with the WWE Title to the head.

Perhaps most peculiar about the match is that R-Truth entered the ring as if he would assist his “childhood hero” Cena, leading to Orton dropping Truth with an RKO. That shocking run-in by Truth led to Cena’s belt shot for the win.

After the show, Cena was talking to the media when R-Truth interrupted. Truth congratulated the champion and told Cena he was proud of him even if people thought Cena couldn’t wrestle. After Cena warned R-Truth not to say anything else, Truth was about to speak again, so Cena gave Truth an Attitude Adjustment through the table.

While speaking on Busted Open Radio, co-host WWE Bubba Ray Dudley, aka Bully Ray, criticized Cena’s attack on Truth, saying it sounded like “somebody knocked over an ashtray,”

“I didn’t feel bad for Ron Killings afterwards. What John did, I’ve seen so many times. I want some emotion. I want to feel so bad for Ron Killings in that moment that I want to punch John Cena in the face.”

John Cena Encouraged Joe Hendry After Winning WWE Title

The TNA World Champion Joe Hendry made his WrestleMania debut at WrestleMania 41 when he lost a short match to Randy Orton that had memorable moments.

Hendry has opened up about his WrestleMania experience while also revealing that John Cena took time out of his busy night to acknowledge Hendry’s performance.

So I’m walking back from there, and at the same moment the match has just finished, John is walking back with his WWE Championship. He’s literally just become the greatest of all time. It’s now a fact he’s the greatest of all time. So he came up to me, and there’s two camera crews. They’re filming this interaction. I’m like, I can’t believe the timing that this is happening. He’s just won the championship. I say, ‘John, congrats.’

He didn’t even want to talk about the fact that he just became the greatest. He wanted to give me advice, that’s who John is, right? He just said to me, ‘I told you exactly what you needed to do at the Rumble. You’ve taken it on board. You’ve done it. You had a good performance at the Rumble. You were brilliant tonight.’ Then John walks off.

I hope they release this footage one day, I turned to the camera and I go, can a day get any better than this?

As for what’s next for John Cena, he may have to deal with R-Truth, who could want revenge against his “childhood hero” for the AA through the table.
