John Cena Vs. Cody Rhodes Rematch May Take Place Outside The U.S.
John Cena dethroned Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41, but there hasn’t been any rematch between the stalwarts. Fans have been wondering when WWE will book the much anticipated bout.
Following The Show of Shows, The Franchise Player has been in feuds with Randy Orton, R-Truth, and will face Jey Uso & Cody Rhodes in a tag team match at Money in the Bank 2025.
While Cena and Rhodes will enter the ring as opponents, it will not be for the Undisputed WWE Championship. Even though the wrestling juggernaut has quite a few dates available for the United States, Triple H might book the rematch for an event outside the U.S.A.
John Cena vs. Cody Rhodes can be booked for Saudi Arabia
The high-stakes rematch between the staunch rivals will definitely take place, and it’s highly likely The American Nightmare will dethrone The Leader of Cenation.
During WrestleVotes Q&A on Sportskeeda WrestleBinge, the ideal time premium live event for John Cena vs. Cody Rhodes was discussed. WrestleVotes revealed that the wrestling juggernaut could book the match for Night of Champions which will emanate from Saudi Arabia on June 28, 2025 from the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh.
I’m willing to bet that match happens. Don’t know when. The Saudi show is at the end of June, I guess they could do it there, I’d hate it, I think a lot of people would hate it, but that’s a possibility. And then there’s SummerSlam. That match could be on top Saturday night, Sunday night, no problem. So, we’ll see.
John Cena is forming a tag team with Logan Paul against Uso and Rhodes at MITB.
