John Cena Makes Stunning Claim About The Rock
John Cena will have his final match on December 13th, 2025, at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Currently, he is awaiting the emergence of his final opponent, which is being decided via the ‘Last Time Is Now’ tournament.
In the meantime, he will place the Intercontinental Championship on the line against Dominik Mysterio at Survivor Series.
John Cena names The Rock as the one to make the biggest impact
The Champ was present for a live Q&A at M&S Arena, and during that, he was asked a question about who made the biggest impact on his career and his life.
John Cena named Dwayne Johnson (The Rock) as the person who had the most impact on his life, explaining that their friendship was affected, and it took years to mend.
I want to say Dwayne Johnson and I’ll tell you why. Because when I started to do what I thought was good business and try to do what’s best for wrestling, I wasn’t empathetic to the person I was talking about. So when you hit me with the last part, when you said for life, um, I made some bad choices in the way I tried to wrangle up a main event, and I was not empathetic.
And that is a great life lesson if we can all just have a second. And man, when we’re all feeling good, we’re all happy, empathy is easy. But it’s when we’re a little bit short, is when empathy is tough. And that storyline uh, cost the friendship of somebody I cared about, which took years to mend. And I’m grateful for it. And my takeaway was, have more empathy and always try to see every person’s a journey before you go do something stupid.
The Rock hasn’t been on WWE TV since his appearance at Elimination Chamber, where John Cena turned heel.
