John Cena Challenges For Major Championship On WWE RAW

Triple H has given John Cena a title match on WWE RAW.

The Chief Content Officer kicked off tonight’s episode of RAW. He acknowledged that although people have different opinions on who the greatest WWE Superstar of all time is, he disclosed that he sees John Cena as that person. He dubbed the 17-time world champion the greatest asset the wrestling business has ever seen. He then introduced the hometown hero.

Cena pointed out that he was repeatedly asked who he wanted to face since announcing his retirement. However, it was The Game who asked him what he wanted to do. The Never Seen 17 disclosed that he wants to leave the business better than he found it. He then expressed his excitement for the kickoff of his “The Last Time Is Now” tournament on tonight’s episode of the red brand.

The 48-year-old stated that another thing he wanted on his retirement tour was to pave the way for the future, announcing that at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13, the brightest of NXT stars will clash with main roster stars. The former WWE Champion finally revealed that his third request from Triple H was to make one final appearance in Boston.

John Cena To Challenge Dominik Mysterio On WWE RAW

Cena’s promo was interrupted by the Intercontinental Champion, Dominik Mysterio. The Judgment Day member asked Triple H what he was going to do regarding Rey Mysterio interrupting his celebration last week.

When the Leader of the Cenation tried to talk to Dirty Dom, the latter demanded that The Never Seen 17 go stand in a corner and speak only when spoken to. He even threatened to put down the hometown hero.

Cena responded by reminding Mysterio of who he was. He advised him to choose his words carefully, claiming the Intercontinental Champion was at the wrong place at the wrong time, messing with the wrong guy. Meanwhile, he gave the 28-year-old the chance to leave out of his respect for Mysterio’s father.

When The Judgment Day member claimed he could whoop Cena’s a** at any time, any place, and any era, Triple H interfered to announce an Intercontinental Title match between the two starting right away.
