John Cena Causes Major Changes To WWE Raw

John Cena WWE Raw Mic

John Cena made the most of his time on WWE Raw soaking in the hate from fans and it seems he went a lot longer than originally planned.

On the March 17 edition of Raw, John Cena went all the way to Brussels, Belgium to finally explain his shock heel turn. Cena laid bare two decades of frustrations with the fans who he claims never did anything for him. For his worries, John Cena received “f*ck you Cena” and “shut the f*ck up” chants as the Belgian fans in attendance flexed their English skills.

Cena whined and complained that all the fans have done is take from him over the years and even after his heel turn, they still wanted more whether it be new music or a new look. Instead, Cena said they get nothing because they don’t deserve it.

Cody Rhodes finally put an end to Cena’s pity party as he interrupted and expressed how disappointed he was that this version of Cena had appeared. Rhodes warned that he wanted the real John Cena to appear at WrestleMania or else he’d retire him early.

And it seems Cena’s soliloquy had a major effect on the rest of the show.

John Cena Runs Long On Raw

Eyebrows were raised on the show when Jey Uso defeated Austin Theory in just 30 seconds and it seems that match was meant to go a lot longer.

Speaking on Backstage Pass Q&A, WrestleVotes noted that John Cena running long had a major effect on the rest of the show, although it can’t be said for certain if that is why Uso’s match ended up so short:

This match was spaced out for 11 minutes last night. I don’t know if Cena drawing out the opening of the show affected it, I know it affected other things on the show.

Jey Uso will have a mystery partner when he faces A-Town Down Under on the March 24 edition of Raw which will take place in Glasgow, Scotland.
