John Cena Briefly Becomes “Juan Cena” Again (VIDEO)

John Cena WWE

John Cena put on a mask in front of wrestling fans again to remind fans of a time when he competed in a mask about 15 years ago.

Over his 25 years in WWE, John Cena has had some unique looks, but for the most part, he wrestled in jorts and sneakers.

There was also a time when, in 2010, he was briefly “fired” from WWE, which led to him wrestling as Juan Cena in a mask at live events. This occurred during the Nexus storyline, where Nexus leader Wade Barrett got Cena fired; however, WWE still had live events, and Cena wrestled on them wearing a mask.

In the storyline, Cena was able to get his job back (of course), and eventually, The Nexus went away as well.

During an appearance at CCXP Mexico, Cena took the stage to discuss his life and career. A host presented Cena with a Lucha mask, so Cena put it on briefly, much to the delight of the crowd. As you can see in the clip below, Cena only put the mask on for about five seconds.

John Cena Should Be Credited For WWE First

CM Punk is a man who wrestled John Cena many times in the early 2010s. In CM Punk’s opinion, John Cena deserves a lot of credit for putting over others before himself.

“I think me and him are on the same road. We’re [both] closer to the end of our career than we are to the start of it. He’s another guy who doesn’t like talking about himself too much.

John Cena has never asked for anyone to give him any kind of credit, he always put the company before himself, always put others before himself — I think it’s time we give back, say thanks, pat him on the back.”

The WWE Champion John Cena will be in action this Saturday, June 7th at Money in the Bank when he teams up with Logan Paul against the World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes.
