John Cena’s Surprising Backstage Conversation With The Judgment Day Revealed

John Cena Survivor Series

John Cena’s retirement from WWE has left a void in the company. However, the legacy he left behind is going to serve as a guide and inspiration for generations to come.

The Champ battled many superstars during the retirement tour, such as CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Logan Paul, and Dominik Mysterio, among others. Each match left an impact on the WWE Universe.

Now, more stories about how he continued to push the superstars to be better have surfaced.

John Cena took feedback from The Judgment Day

At Survivor Series, John Cena fought Dominik Mysterio with the Intercontinental Championship on the line. The Judgment Day member dethroned The Champ, and then had a meaningful conversation with everyone backstage.

On Going Ringside podcast, Roxanne Perez revealed that John Cena brought everyone together and asked what everyone could have done better, including himself. This left a lasting impression on her about how to keep becoming better and knowing no one is truly better than anyone else, and everyone is learning and growing at the same time.

Our match at Survivor Series, he brought all of us together—everyone who was part of that match—and the first thing he asked was, ‘Okay, what do you guys think we could have done better?’ He was sweating, exhausted, everything. It was just crazy that he was asking us that—what we thought he could have done better.

Um, maybe a little bit—but honestly, it was mostly inspiring. I feel like it really shows that you can learn from anybody, and no one is truly better than anyone else. That’s definitely something I’ll take with me throughout my entire career. You never stop learning, you never stop getting better. Even the best to ever do it—John Cena—never stops getting better. I’m pretty sure he even asked himself that question in his retirement match. So yeah, I’ll keep that with me for sure. [H/t: Ringside News]
