John Cena May Be Avoiding Final Match With Ex-WWE Champion

One former WWE Champion thinks John Cena might be avoiding getting back in the ring with him one last time.

John Cena is in his final year as a WWE Superstar and is vowing to go out with the WWE Championship still around his waist. Cena captured the 17th WWE Title of his career from Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41 and retained that title when he defeated CM Punk in controversial circumstances at Night of Champions.

Now, with just 6 months left of his career, opportunities are running out for WWE stars to get in the ring with Cena, and a former world champion thinks Cena wants no part of him again.

Is John Cena Avoiding Sheamus?

Speaking on the Cheap Heat podcast, Sheamus was asked if he’d like to face Cena again, but joked that Cena will do anything to avoid that:

I’ll go in there with anybody. I don’t care who it is. The question is, will John Cena want to get in there with me? Does he want to put his body through that? Does he want to like, take kind of an easier route with some of the wrestlers, like less physical matches? Or does he want to get in there with the King of Bangers, Sheamus? That is the question you would have to ask Cena.
