At Money in the Bank 2024, The Champ announced his retirement tour for 2025. He has claimed that once his dates are over, he will leave the squared circle for good.

John Cena can continue to be a part of WWE after 2025

Neither WWE nor John Cena have indicated at him continuing to work with the company after his retirement. Nevertheless, he has the option to keep collaborating with the wrestling juggernaut as an ambassador or special appearances for premium live events, mostly a WWE Legend contract.

There’s also the possibility of him returning to the ring once again, despite the claims of 2025 being his final year as an active pro-wrestler.

Dutch Mantell answered a fan question about whether Cena will retire a heel or babyface, and during that, he revealed not believing that this is The Franchise Player’s last year in the business.

If this is his last go-around, which I don’t believe for a second that we are not going to see him anymore, yeah, it doesn’t matter how he’s left. Him leaving babyface or him leaving heel, he’s still got a story to tell.

John Cena will defend the Undisputed WWE Championship against CM Punk at Night of Champions 2025.
