John Cena Will Allegedly Lose WWE Title To This Superstar

John Cena on WWE Raw

John Cena has a formidable opponent lined up for him soon.

John Cena may arguably be the greatest of all time after WrestleMania 41. The 48-year-old star is a seventeen-time champion, but his title reign may have an expiry date, according to wrestling personality Sam Roberts.

The Cenation Leader won his seventeenth World Championship at WrestleMania 41 earlier this year. He did so after finally turning heel and winning with help from Travis Scott. Since then, Cena has done what he has promised and ruined wrestling for many. On the recent episode of Notsam Wrestling, Sam Roberts discussed the return of Cody Rhodes and predicted that he was going to be the one to dethrone the man who beat him for the WWE Championship.

“Clearly, we are going to get another Cody Rhodes vs John Cena match. I would think that John Cena – Cody Rhodes is the moment Cena loses the title. SummerSlam feels early to me. It’s August 1st. But it is a two-night SummerSlam. So the idea of Cody and John in the rematch at SummerSlam is a huge SummerSlam match but so is CM Punk and John Cena. A month after SummerSlam you’ve got Clash In Paris. Maybe the idea is that Cody Rhodes pins John Cena at Money In The Bank and then Cena spends some time telling Cody Rhdoes that he hasn’t earned his rematch and that he has to prove it to John Cena. Or maybe that’s when you bring Randy back. And Randy says, ‘I dont think you should get a rematch with John Cena. I want one’ Then maybe you do Cody and Randy before Cody can get a rematch with Cena. Or maybe you dont extend it at all because I think when John Cena loses the title is when we start shifting to babyface Cena and that may happen in the fall.” [19:17 – 21:07]

John Cena Will Face Cody Rhodes at Money In The Bank

The Last Real Champion tried his best to ruin wrestling for the WWE Universe by siding with Logan Paul at Saturday Night’s Main Event. The Cenation Leader ran into the ring and pulled the referee out of the ring to interrupt the three count for Jey Uso to retain his championship. Cena then attacked Uso until Cody Rhodes’ music hit the arena.

The American Nightmare saved Jey Uso and ensured that he retained the World Heavyweight Championship. While celebrating Uso’s win, Rhodes took the mic and challenged Cena and Paul to a tag team match against him and Uso at Money In The Bank. The match was made official on WWE RAW this week.
