John Cena at WrestleMania 43? Is it possible???

With each passing week, Cena is inching closer to his impending retirement. He’s set to face The Beast Brock Lesnar at Wrestlepalooza on September 20 in Indianapolis. After that, he has only five dates left on his retirement tour.

There are so many wrestlers that the fans want to see wrestle Cena for the last time before he hangs up his wrestling boots for good. But with a limited number of appearances, not all can make the spot. The WWE Universe was hoping to see Cena fight Edge, one of his fiercest rivals. But Adam Copeland is signed to AEW, and therefore, it probably won’t happen. OR WILL IT?

John Cena vs. Edge at WrestleMania 43

Speaking on his Notsam Wrestling podcast, renowned wrestling analyst Sam Roberts shared a narrative where fans could see John Cena vs. Edge one last time. He speculated WWE might just be able to bring Cena back out of retirement to face Edge at WrestleMania 44.

WrestleMania 43 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, will be a monumental event as it marks the first time in history that the company’s flagship PLE will be held outside North America. Therefore, Roberts is hopeful Triple H might be able to pull it off.

I know he’s retired. I know he said never again after the end of this year, but is there a world where there’s enough money to figure out a way where you can call
John Cena in for one more match? I think so. I especially it’ll be it’ll be a year and a half removed from the end of his retirement if you were just like, “Okay, fine.”

And I don’t know, maybe he has to do it in his, you know, Peacemaker outfit. What if it’s Peacemaker John and he wrestles in his Peacemaker outfit? However, he does it to get in there, and that, oh, this is a year and a half, right? Contracts are out the window now, right? Contracts have expired.

There’s a match that everybody wanted on this retirement tour didn’t happen or hasn’t happened yet. I don’t think it’s going to happen because of contracts. But what if we get to Wrestlemania 43 And we finally get John Cena versus Edge? I mean, that’d be so sick, right? We finally get John Cena versus Edge. I think it’d be amazing. (From 14:42)
